Cosy season is here! As we drift into autumn we think of softer homely textiles, plump relaxing cushions, glowing candles, throws to snuggle under and table linens for home cooked family fare. Welcoming the change of season with earthy natural tones and the simple pleasures of our cosy home.

The grandkids are back to school, so time to start making plans for Christmas. The cake is made, lists being written and I’ve just found a recipe for apple chutney, I’ll let you know how that goes. Did you know its National Tree Week from 22-30 November? If you are thinking about planting a tree November is a perfect time. I don’t have enough room in my garden for another tree but I thought I would plant a dwarf apple tree in a large pot.
