Live for the day!
Cornwall has seen more than its fair share of rain so far this year, but on the plus side, with long days being stuck indoors, it has given me the opportunity to knuckle down and consider how I would like claracreate to move forward this year.
I have started work on some hand-stitched textile artworks, and it has proved to be such a relaxing, calm way of working; I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying the process.
Each individual piece seems to have a life of its own; I sketch out an idea and just see how it progresses without any end plan. I have started this journey with bold colours, but that may not always be the case, just a day at a time and see where it takes me.
My new art/collage/appliqué works will be coming to claracreate in April.
