Hand stitching is a passion!

I have been happily working with hand stitching this year. I love the relaxed feeling of piecing fabric together with no particular plan and just seeing where it takes me, although I normally have an idea in mind of an item I would love to make like these large bags, I’m really pleased with how they have turned out. 

My most favourite part of the process is sitting in the quiet with a cuppa and hand stitching random designs which means each piece is unique.

I have recently picked up some great charity shop finds which I’m going to up-cycle to fit in with my natural fabrics and I’m looking forward to incorporating these into one-off-pieces.

2026 will see more individual pieces along with some fabric artwork, so busy times ahead.
