This original, large, textile hand-stitched picture is part of the "In the Pink" collection by Alison Capeling.

Designed as a bold one-off contemporary statement piece, this artwork was handcrafted by Alison in the Clara studio and is ready-to-hang.

Hand-stitched with decorative coloured threads and has tiny beads around the earring. It features bold natural felts, mindfully sewn onto a dark grey raime fabric background (a natural fabric from the nettle plant family). Backed with a bamboo mix batting, adding texture and depth. It is presented in a bespoke, handmade frame.

This artwork is called "Lily the Pink" and is part of the "In the Pink" collection which features bold pink accents. An impressionist fabric collage as a "slow stitch" medium.
